This pattern is ideal for advanced beginner knitters and features a simple 4-stitch repeat. One of its greatest strengths is its versatility—feel free to experiment with different yarns to create your own unique variations. To help spark your creativity, I’ve included four different patterns to explore using contrasting colour yarns.

SUGGESTED NEEDLE SIZE:
Size US13/9mm 16” circular knitting needles
Size US11/8mm 16” circular knitting needles
Size US15/10mm 16” circular knitting needles (optional)

SUGGESTED YARNS:
One or two skeins (contrasting colour) of Super Bulky (weight 6) yarn

GAUGE:
4” x 4” = 10 stitches and 13 rows in stockinette stitch using US15/10mm needles

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Finished headband should measure approximately 4.5” x 9” and fit an average adult head size of 21-23” in circumference.
